Every once in a great while MPG tries to do a book review on new books, but the schedule often does not permit. Although it is not consistent, I do have twonew books worth purchasing.

Cult of Mac - Leander Kahney
Cult of Mac is similar to "Macintosh...The Naked Truth" but with a modern approach and more stories from Mac users as opposed to a personal look at the Mac sector. Leander, a Wired news writer, has been a Mac user for years and the book outlines some great aspects of a Mac user's life. I typically do not ready very long and get bored but I started reading the book and was up till 4AM to finish and was laughing the entire time. It was not funny laughter just excitement laughter when I read the Macworld section it really captured what the event is for myself and other Mac users. I reccomend this book to any Mac user with the love of the machine and the OS.

A great read for the novice computer user having problems getting around the net. If you just upgraded or got a computer this will help you find things on the internet and shows how to do so in Windows and Mac as well as different browsers and search engines. Christmas is coming soon and that PC user may need more help getting around plus there is OS X stuff in the book so you may have a switcher on your hands.
