ACME MADE Slim 15" Powerbook Case
Mac users know that style matters. Half of the joy of owning a Mac is it looks so darn sexy. Some of like cases that match our computers. This is where ACME Made comes in. Acme Made is based out of San Francisco and has bags for the style savvy Mac User. Their tote bags or cases for all sizes of Apples notebooks and even sleeves for the Flat Panel iMac. I received the bright orange notebook sleeve totebag from them in a 15 configuration. It was the coolest bag ever. I t was not good on storage, but if you are carrying just your notebook, Acme Made made a great bag for just that.
The exterior of the bag has two leather reinforced handles in the center. There is also an included stretchy shoulder pad. You can get the cases in a variety of colors and sizes, and they all feel great. The outside of the case is a rough material that feels scratch resistant and even waterproof. Of course, I dont suggest taking your Powerbook for a dip, but at least the quality of this bag ad a little security if you are in the rain. The zippers in the computer area and on the back inset pocket are triple sealed zippers that are solid and really a joy to use. It may sound weird but just the zippers made you feel like your Powerbook is there to stay.

The yellow color was great and the zipper was a nice touch, but the best part of this bag was the inside. This may sound creepy, but have you ever felt the inside of a coffin? If so, check your pulse and get back to me. Back? Ok, good you arent dead. The inside of the case is padded silk with stitches to assure the bags innards stay intact when you are taking your notebook in and out all day. It feels great and is better than any other interior in a notebook bag. My Powerbook was snug and I even had space to put my iPod in the outside insert.
This Acme Made bag was a joy to use. Although you cant take your entire computer setup with you, for those who transport a computer to and from work it is a joy. The bag was easy to carry, and in a wild orange color, it really matched my personality.
