iPod 15 and iPod 15 Compared!

Although this title makes absolutely no sense, to an Apple technician or specialist there are many differences between the Apple iPod released on Apri 28th 2003 and the iPod released January 5th 2004. Both are 15gbs, both can have the curren iPod software (2.1), but their hardware differences are amazing. First I have to start with the backlight. The iPod backlight is finally blue. It was always blue in the commercials. The new 15gb iPod has a blue backlight and it is brighter than ever. Also, the screen is amazingly crisp. If you have the old and new iPod beside eachother you can see an obvious difference. When I turn the iPod around, the Apple logo is brighter as well as the rest of the text. Finally, the buttons feel harder and a lot more responsive. I was amazed of how great the new iPod worked. The differences are not huge enough to warrant the cost of a new iPod, but if you don't own an iPod, you should take another look at these. 15 gigabytes holds 5500 songs and is only 299 now.
