I used this bag for about a month for various activities and this is a tough bag. I want to start of by saying that the bag is water proof on the inside and water repellant on the outside. The Brain Bag is composed of the main sections for books, laptops and three external compartments for anything else us mac heads carry with us. As far as style and elegance goes, this bag does not stand out at all, but when it comes to protecting your Power Book or iBook, this is the unequaled , number one. The Brain Bag comes with an optional Brain Cell or Monolith, these are extremely padded laptop sleeves that clip on to the inside of either of the Brain Bags main compartments to keep your laptop even safer, so you could in fact carry two laptops in your Brain Bag at once. It is a bit of a hassle to unclip the Brain Cell and take your laptop out, but for some, the extra five second is no price for the protection this offers for your laptop.
The Brain Bag itself is also extremely padded, the shoulder straps, interior and back side of the exterior are padded with with 3/8", high quality, closed cell foam, making your travels allot more comfortable. The Brain Bag will hold out for a long time , and you can put it trough alot more abuse then you would ever dare with regular bags.
